In cooperation with Debegesa, the local economic development agency, we are offering several tours in Eibar.
Restaurants
Eibar is a small city but it has several options for dinner or to have some drinks or coffee. We are providing a list of restaurants where you can enjoy dinner. There are not many big restaurants where a lot of people can join, so we suggest attendees to spread over Eibar and find their place.
Please, try to book your table in advance (ask for help at the Conference desk if you want), and take into account that it is not common to have dinner before 20:30 every day. Moreover, during the weekend, it is common to have dinner even later, like 21:30. Most of the restaurants accept major debit and credit cards.

There are several restaurants that only offer lunch menus. In case you want to taste them these are those options (remember that we have lunch included in the Conference ticket, but you may want to try some more basque food). Please make a reservation if you want to go there.

Sport
Football
S.D. Eibar plays against Real Madrid in Spanish Women League, on Wednesday at 20:00 in Ipurua Football Stadium. Tickets are available in the Stadium shop.
Running
Although the slopes of the streets in Eibar are quite steep, you can run next to the river on your way to Elgoibar through the bike path. (10 km)
Another good option is running through Ermua to the Aixola water reservoir.
Relax and disconnect from Plone
If you want to have a top-down view of Eibar, we suggest you to go to Hotel Ixua. It is located above Eibar (4 km), and offers an extraordinary view of the mountains that sorround Eibar. They have a bar and a restaurant where you can enjoy a drink, a coffee, and an excellent view of the Basque Country. A taxi will cost about 10 €.
You can also go to Arrate, a catholic sanctuary in the mountains (7 km). The fresh air and excellent views above Eibar and all the valley will let you put your Plone problems aside. There is a bar and a restaurant there. A taxi will cost about 10 €.
